Designed to accommodate the special
needs of orthopedic patients, the nursing unit consists of 18 semi-private rooms
and 10 private rooms, and was constructed
in an existing shelled-in space at the medical center.
The design took advantage of adjacent roof-top space for a solarium and outdoor
patio, accessible to patients and their guests.
