As a joint venture between
a medical center and a physician group, the Surgery Center was designed to function
as a free-standing facility although it is located within the medical center.
The Center features its own reception and billing departments, lobby, entrances,
parking, and central processing department.
The
Surgery Center includes 4 operating rooms, a recovery room for 9 adults, a
separate recovery room for 2 pediatric patients, a nurse station, and appropriate
support spaces
